The Children’s Center
“Laying the Foundations for Life Long Learning”
The Children’s Center is a Pre-K School for children ages 2-5 years old during the week.
Mission
The purpose of The Children’s Center of St. Andrew United Methodist Church is to provide an atmosphere of Christian love and nurturing through quality child care and early childhood education.
Philosophy
Our early childhood program is designed to meet the social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs of young children. Activities are planned according to the capabilities of each child through the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Play is the means by which children learn about themselves and their world and we provide a variety of age appropriate learning experiences that encourage exploration and develop creative and problem solving skills. The atmosphere of The Children’s Center is nurturing and supportive of the whole family. We strive to enhance self-confidence and develop pride in accomplishment.
