The 2012 sermon series is a review of basic doctrine and beliefs titled “Back to the Basics” of Christian faith and practice through this sermon series. This series will refresh our knowledge of the core beliefs of the Christian faith. The sermon series will also teach foundational doctrine of Methodism what it means to be a Christian that chooses Methodism or The United Methodist Church.

The themes for November and December 2011 is ”The Good News” (It’s Time For Some…) The last eight weeks of the year 2011 will focus on the phrase “good news” or gospel which means glad tidings. The world gospel occurs four times in the first chapter of the book of Romans. The word gospel can be found in the New Testament 60 – 75 times in the writings of Paul. The “good news” is the business and the passion of the church past, present, and future. Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas and the New Year must be a time to boldly name, claim, and reclaim the “good news” because “it’s time for some.”

God’s Recipe For Living ”Shake It Up Cafe”
God has give us a recipe for how to live our lives. The Bible contains all the ingredients that we need to live a life full of blessings. God didn’t write the recipe so that our lives would be boring or hard to live. This series is developed from the “Shake It Up Cafe” Vacation Bible School. We will be learning about the feast of the Bible and God’s instructions for living a Christ-centered life in times of joy and challenges.
