What: Confirmation Classes
Date:  Monday Evenings, February 22 – April 19, 2010 
Time:  6:00 pm – 7:00 pmConfirmation refers to the decision a person makes to respond to God’s grace with intentional commitment, publicly reaffirming his or her baptismal vows before the congregation. Most confirmands are youth between the ages of eleven and fourteen, who have been nurtured in the church since their baptism as an infant or young child.  During confirmation class, confirmands learn about the meaning of Christian faith; the history and teachings and The United Methodist Church; and an explanation of the baptismal and membership vows they will be professing.

Pioneer Club – Mid-week Children Program

Pioneer Club for Children
A Christ Centered Wednesday Program for Children
Date:  March 2010 – June 2010
Time:  7:30 pm
Location: St. Andrew UMC

Coming to St. Andrew…The Pioneer Club Discovery program.  The Pioneer Discovery program is a Wednesday night weekly multi-age-level ministry program for children.  The curriculum based program allows kids of all ages to meet together to study God’s Word, memorize Scripture, and enjoy fun activities. The Discovery program’s structure builds on weekly Bible study, meaningful Scripture memory, and fun life-skills activities make each meeting memorable and full of variety!
